Hummingbird Colibri is a small consulting firm that works with (not for) our clients in developing their ideas and in assisting them when emergencies occur in their production and R&D activities. We focus on multi-disciplinary feasibility studies, troubleshooting, and technical and scientific support, in areas where non-standard solutions and detective work often are needed. A specialty is to rapidly enter new technical areas and obtain useful results within a limited time-frame. Larger projects are handled via a well-established network of experts.

Our business focus is split equally on two areas:

Consulting:
As an expert, deliver advanced solutions to our clients' outsourced work packages. The deliverables are reports and devices.
Mentorship and support:
An advisory and guiding role focused on bringing in experience and understanding to our clients. The deliverable is increased competence at our clients' location.

We possess a broad competence profile, both practical and theoretical in diverse areas such as mechanical, electrical, fluidical and thermal technologies. Our employees have extensive experience in industrial development and in research, with numerous contacts in both industry and academia. We aim for an informal and goal oriented way of approaching tasks based on business mottos such as:

Most clients are both well-established large companies or small high-tech start-up companies. Several clients are international. Examples of clients and projects are found on the pages ‘Pre-analysis’, ‘Project Phase’ and ‘Post-analysis’. Most projects are covered by strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). We pride ourselves in respecting these.
